Today I cancelled my policy on all four of my dogs. I had turned in a claim that was immediately denied by Embrace Pet Insurance. My 11-year-old Golden Retriever developed a small sore on her cheek about a year and half ago. I took her to the vet, assuming she got caught in the rose bushes. Because there was mild swelling, my vet performed a needle biopsy and cytology right in the office. BEWARE of EMBRACE Pet Insurance!! I wish i could give them zero stars. Embrace is just another morally bankrupt insurance company. If you are getting insurance when your pet is young to make sure they are covered throughout their life BEWARE. If anything happens to your pet, they will simply raise the premiums astronomically. second part of our review...did not have enough characters. In addition to continually rejected claims on my dogs, the customer service representatives continually gave us conflicting or poor information about the way the appeal would be delivered and discussed with us. Some told us it would be a detailed email with the result from the adjuster, some did not know why we received the same claim again with the same denial, and some just didn't know what to say. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Used to be really good pet insurance. Sadly has gone down a lot. Website is ridiculously slow. Customer service takes forever if you ever get a response. Almost impossible to find the information you want. The most recent renewal I got only gave total which was a 100% increase in my premium. With no explanation for it and no breakout of premium per pet (I have 4). I emailed them requesting the information which was ignored. It's been a week and still no response. I do not recommend this pet insurance. My dog is turning 12 years old & they more than doubled my premiums. It went from $118 to $247 & their excuse was preexisting conditions. I have had this insurance & they know the one pre existing condition. Never used it on a claim. Then they say they look at if they paid any claims & if they have they raise. Look at Pets best insurance. It is a good insurance & my dog is $130 a month even at her age

I have been an embrace customer for 4 years, we have had some delays and bumps and some appeals but overall good experience. My renewal just came in and my monthly premium has increased 49%!!!!!! I understand with age prices can increase but almost 50%??? my dog is 6, not 12 or 15. I called customer service, friendly as always, however only able to offer that I lower my coverage. what a sham, 20% increase? sure! but 50%? and not being able to offer a loyalty discount or something like other insurance types, that is greed.

We have been paying premiums for years and our pets are healthy. But when the need came with my pets, even with complete history, not one claim was considered. They will no longer care about getting a bad review after getting thousands of dollars. Fake positive reviews will keep coming for more victims like me. Karma will take care of it. We could have used our hard earned money for real insurance out there. So sad.
