I have been a customer of Embrace Pet Insurance for four years, but my recent experience has been beyond frustrating. They denied my claim, stating the condition was pre-existing, despite my veterinarian explicitly stating that the issue had nothing to do with the pre-existing condition they referenced. My vet provided multiple emails with supporting medical evidence, which Embrace completely ignored. They also refused to speak with my vet directly, further delaying and obstructing the process. 0 stars. This company is a scam. After 9 years as a loyal customer, they raised the premiums from 2024-2025 over 100%. For no reason other than my dog is now 9Years old. If you are thinking of becoming a customer, don’t. I doubt you’ll find embrace or any other pet insurance to be worth the money. This greedy company does not care about your pet, loyal customers or your pocketbook. Shame on you, Embrace!

My husband and I have a 4 year old doing going on 5. We had embrace for 1 year. During that time, they upped our monthly from $63 to $90 a month because of, "inflation". This was the LESSER of the plans. The thing that made us cancel was we went and go our dog his annual wellness visit, which cost us $290. Because we had scheduled our wellness visit 4 days sooner than 1 year due to the vet's scheduling conflicts (we needed our dog to get the flu and bordatella shots in order to keep going to dog daycare), they refused to rei... read more

Embrace keeps your credit card info on file. They charged me for my second years insurance, which was fine. However, I don't like companies automatically charging from my card, nor do I want my credit card info potentially hacked. So, I called their customer care number on their web site only to get some AI search engine asking to sign up for a Medicare medical device. It was an endless loop. RIP OFF! My professional obedience dog has a congenital spine deformity that requires SPECIALIZED, licensed physical therapy to correct and maintain her training. We were referred out by our vet. She had 12 treatments, I submitted the claim and "not covered" due to the fact the therapy was not performed by a licensed vet or overseen by a licensed vet under their roof. WHAT?? I adopted a small ex breeder dog from a rescue in GA. She was 7 I decided on Embrace, the policy was over $800.00. August 2024, not long after I took out the policy, she climbed up in the counter. She abruptly fell before I could catch her, landing on her face. Her jaw was broken. I rushed her to my Vet, they said they could not help me & I should go to their Urgent care, they too couldn’t help me, but referred me to a Vet who specialized in that type of care. Reading the complaints I see they do this to everyone. Very slow, low quality service. I’ve had them for two years but still continue to try to add pre existing conditions. This should be figured out before 2 years. I would not recommend them to anyone. I have another pet insurance and they are light years ahead of Embrace. Save your money and go somewhere else. This company is trash.

God I hope this company gets shut down. Please listen to these reviews and avoid them. I regret ever starting my pets on this policy. All they do is deny any possible claim. They relate an ear infection to any type of skin infection. I think they honestly make this stuff up it’s wild. I do not trust them at all at this point because they will say everything is because of one tiny preexisting condition. If you even mention something in the vet notes they will get you for it even if your pet doesn’t have confirmed issues.
