Ive been extremely disappointed by my experience with Embrace Pet Insurance and how they handled my cats claim for renal ********** cat, was diagnosed with pressive kidney disease in 2025. Embrace denied the claim, stating it was pre-existing based on a mild, stable kidney value change from 2022. What theyre calling a diagnosis of renal failure was never chronic, and my veterinarian confirmed Pig had no symptoms or treatment for over two years until this year, when his condition actually developed.According to Embraces own p... read more

My dog was attacked by another dog, and I filed a claim with Embrace Pet Insurance expecting help during an already stressful time. Instead, the claims adjuster denied my claim and categorized the attack as an illness, which makes absolutely no sense.They refused to gather the necessary information from my vet that would have clearly shown the visit was due to an injury from the attack. I started my policy at $37 a month, they increase it to $47 the next year (without telling me, I read all of the legal documents & never once did they mention it would be increased each year) & then I just canceled it before they charged me $57 for another year. I have not used it at all. Ive gotten $0 from them, filed 0 claims. They still increased my policy every year & when i cancelled they refused ANY kind of refund. I paid them for 2 years to steal my money. I actually hate how normalized the scam of insurance is.

My dog ****** had a deep subcutaneous cyst surgically removed on 5/13/25. Claims were submitted and acknowledged by Embrace on 6/11/25. On 6/13/25, both claims were denied with the explanation that Embrace could not rule out a cutaneous cyst, allegedly excluded under pre-existing conditions. On 6/17/25, I clarified that ******’s policy excluded only follicular cysts, not all cysts. I also submitted a letter from the attending surgeon confirming the mass was a deep subcutaneous cyst - not a follicular cyst. Without my asking ... read more

If you like being on hold so you can catch up on your reading, then Embrace is for you! Very, very lengthy hold time....they deny receiving details from the vet multiple times to where papers were being sent 2-3-4 times! They claim they sent a very small payment to me to an account I don't even have and they refuse to correct it! If I could give them zero stars I would! Absolutely horrible!!!!

I’ve been with Embrace for about seven years. Until now, I had no major issues and only filed a few small claims. This past year, my dog needed ACL surgery, an expensive but necessary procedure that Embrace covered. I appreciated that, but any goodwill I had evaporated when I received my renewal notice. My annual premium is jumping from about $1,300 to $2,500. That’s almost a 100% increase in a single year- for one dog! I have been on the phone for over three hours with them insisting my dog was seen by a vet that he has never been to. Three years ago. I gave them a complete medical history months ago. Keep saying they don’t have all information. It’s a scam and lie. They Won’t pay a simple emergency vet bill for upset tummy. Even tho I have given them over 5000 dollars thus far. It’s robbery.
