SCAM company. I called to enroll my dog in early July because he had been hospitalized for diarrhea and it was very expensive. It ended up being gastroenteritis. I explained my reasoning for wanting to get insurance on the phone and asked if I would be covered against similar situations in the future, and they said yes. They told me about pre-existing conditions, and I understand that concept and knew off hand what his pre-existing conditions were. I enrolled paying $169/month. Embrace refused a claim for my bet which was covered by the insurance. They will find every reason to not pay a claim.

Like many insurers, they will bend every word and phrase in the insurance agreement to their benefit in order to deny coverage, and they have provisions in their policy that are one-sided and irrational to the point of absurdity. Then they'll lay on the fake sympathy when they tell you how disappointed they are that they can't cover your claim. Embrace promised to be a different insurance company. They said their rates would not skyrocket yearly. Boy are they LIARS. Just this year they are raising my premium by close to 50%. All they give you is excuses and lies. They STINK!

No idea how they have so many stars because our experience was TERRIBLE with them. What customer service other than a game of passing the buck and telling me to contact other people? A different person each time, too. They offer a guarantee of a medical review within a certain timeframe that never got honored and they kept charging us monthly (for 4 months) despite not following through with anything. As comforting it is to have health insurance for my cat, the rate increases are atrocious. I insured my pet a year ago, passed all of the inquiries and waiting periods, paid on time every month, and this week, I received an email explaining that my monthly payment will be increasing by almost twenty bucks for this coming year. Vet faxed over orthopedic check up for my 2yr sheltie on may 18 /22 I called a week later they said never got it.So they faxed over again same answer not received.So now it is May25 and they said vet did not put date on it and they never received My sheltie check up paper work. They had my vet on phone for 45 mins.going over orthopedic report.Now I remember why I cancelled my account last year for the same reason. I even haved proof that papers were received I paid 20.00 at ****** ***last year

Your PEOPLE NEED to BE ABLE TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. Return calls or a request to speak a supervisor should be taken care of in a more timely manner, not 4 hrs. or a day or two later* ********
