Living with a pet is like living with a child; accidents can happen out of nowhere - and often after business hours. Wynter - somehow while playing on her own with a soft toy - pulled out a dew claw. Poor thing! Thank you to Dr. Kapu and staff at the Emergency Animal Hospital of Collin County. They were as kind to Wynter as her regular (and wonderful) vets at North Colony Animal Clinic. I have been here several times over many years with different dogs. Sometimes I have left with only a leash and empty collar. The staff and doctors here are top notch and I have never met a more caring group of people. Their compassion for animals and their people in difficult times is truly outstanding. I am thankful that they are close by.

I really want to thank the doctors and staff here that saved my dog's life after he was attacked by another dog. He was bleeding everywhere and had puncture wounds in his organs and a broken rib. I didn't think he'd make it. The doctors, nurses and staff kept us in the loop the entire time. There were no surprises, they went over everything. The surgery went very well and he's healing much better than anyone expected. Based on other surgeries my dog has had at other clinics, any other place would have charged just as much, i... read more

Thank you Dr. Mane and Staff for helping me immediately when I arrived Sunday night Jan. 24th with my Mio. The staff was courteous and caring to me, Dr. Mane took time in explaining details to me about my Mio ( My Norwegian Forest cat ) who came in with urinary issues. The most frustrating part of my experience here was the misleading guidance about the cost of a follow-up visit. At my dog Duke’s initial emergency visit on 08/10/2025, I paid $717 for treatment. Both verbally and in the hospital’s own discharge instructions, I was told that I could return within three days for a bandage change at no charge, unless new medications or sedation were required.
