Terrible experience with Emergency Animal Hospital of Collin County We took our dog to Emergency Animal Hospital of Collin County on custer road for emergency treatment. He was in ICU care there for 2 days. During the entire period, out of the 4 doctors who changed shifts, only 1 called us with an update on his condition. None of the others called with an update. We had to keep calling to get any update on his condition. When he was discharged, the doctor on duty was not available to meet with us and discuss his treatment... read more
I would give this place zero stars if it were not for the great nurses we had who seemed to care much more than our veterinarian. The vet who evaluated and treated our dog for the first 2 days demanded we decide if we were going to put her to sleep or pay another $1000 for another day. They doped her up so badly she could barely function and then couldn't understand why she would not eat. We told them to stop the drugs and she began to eat and act more normal. She diagnosed our dog with a severe heart murmur which our o... read more
We brought my dog in for an emergency and while we were waiting in the lobby, my wife approached the desk to inquire about the wait time. Then when we get back into the room, we’r... read more

They did not follow my vets directions at all. He had a severe pancreatic attack and my vet suggested he go there for the weekend so he could be medicated and hydrated. He also had a week old neck injury. They put a leash around his neck and did not follow my vets instructions. I would never take an animal there again. Totally incompetent.
Not happy being forced to provide free labor by having to do the clerical data entry work of checking in on my phone. What a set up, they use their customers to provide free labor...and people so blind and comply.
I was not allowed into the examination. They called me to briefly fill me in on the exam and the medicines they would send home with her, did an ultrasound but ultimately couldn't specifically point out something being wrong. I was charged $450 for the exam, ultrasound, and two medicines. I was given a visit summary and itemized receipt, got my dog back, and left. It wasn't until an hour after I had left that they emailed me a full exam detail, and listed an injury to her paw/nail essentially blaming her for not being cooper... read more
