My advice: If your loved ones is generally healthy then this is a great place for them. If your loved ones is generally ill with other complications then do yourself a favor and send them elsewhere. The nurses, tech, OT, PT, and ST here are all amazing and extremely helpful. They will definitely do their best to advocate for your loved ones. My sister was at this facility for about 3 wks. I loved the therapist, and nurses that worked with her. I only had a problem with one her whole time there. Her case manager contacted me once a week with updates about her health and care. Toward the end of her stay, I was told there seemed to be medical issues and it may be hard to place her in a short term rehab until the issues were corrected. My mother was transferred here after a stroke. The first day there a stressed out nurse (Jen) started yelling at her for asking to shut the light. The nurse said they were short staffed and people did not show up for work. My mothers blood pressure went up to 194/104!!! Perfect condition for another stroke! Yelling at elders is called Elder abuse!!! I am a nurse myself and I will be calling the board of nursing to report this abuse. Do not send your parents here. My mother was transferred here after a stroke. The first day there a stressed out nurse (Jen) started yelling at her for asking to shut the light. If there was a BELOW 1 star this place would get it. I feel lucky to get out of there without contracting a disease of some sort! I entered this place after SS Hospital moved me there (even though I was supposed to go to Spaulding). I had 3 vertebrae fractures and 4 ribs fractured facial sutures and partially torn ligament in neck. I was in a solid vest and neck brace. Upon getting there they bring me into a room which smelled of urine and feces, and began to ask questions during the admittance process. They were asking ... read more

I was transferred here from Faulkner Hospital (another place to avoid like the plague). This was my third stay at Braintree following joint replacements, and I couldn't believe I was in the same place. Nurses with whom I became friendly told me that BR had been sold to a for-profit and things hadn't been the same since.
