John Southern I'M GONNA TELL Y'ALL A STORY OR TWO. I did meet a couple of competent and nice nurses during my stay. The rehab was a joke, I needed a little help with balance and walking. I spent most of my time in my room unless they took me by wheelchair to group meetings??????? The first one appeared to be an AA meeting which I told a couple of jokes to I believe was a few elder over medicated guys and about 30 minutes after that a guy in a suit came to my room and chatted for a minute and left his card...he was a psychiat... read more

My sister was transferred to encompass for rehab after a severe allergic reaction to that almost killed her. She was paralyzed on her right side because of a stroke, seizure, and possibly a concussion when the medical staff at Baylor Scott and White had delayed care while trying to verify her insurance even though she was going in & out of consciousness and couldn't breathe. They also kept asking her what drugs she took over and over again after They were already told someone had given her peach tea. They also dropped her on... read more

My daughter has been at the facility. She has gotten great care from doctors, nursing staff and rehab personnel. What she isn't getting is help from her last 2 case workers. They have permission to share information with me as I am in California, but they have been vague and have avoided giving me information on services my daughter will need. My daughter is low income so they have pretty much discounted her needs. I have asked if they have gotten her in touch with or helped her fill out forms for some type of welfare an... read more

Horrible food. They wake u at 3 am for blood draw. Case manager doesn't return phone calls. Depressed when I was there. Therapy not well coordinated. The physical therapists there were good. Most employees very nice. Took techs and nurses long time to respond to call buttons. Beds are uncomfortable.

My mother was at this facility after a recent fall. They lost her very expensive hearing aids. At first they offered to replace them but after providing them with receipts and all requested documentation, they are now avoiding our calls. The doctor also gave us the wrong information about my mother's situation. We were told he mixed up her situation with another patient. Scary!
