They omit the family from the healing process.. My wife is an epileptic and she was under their care for a hip fracture. My wife has a seizure and they neglected to contact me about the event. Turns out they were giving her the wrong dosages of her seizure medication.. NOT GOOD .. I was never contacted by them about what I needed to do to give my wife support when she came home. This place is a JOKE....blind leading the blind!!!!! U HAVE TO SAY ON TOP OF EVERYONE!!!!! From the Dr, House supervisors, nurses, techs. The only one so far is Pamela. This place takes your Medicare point blank period. No 3 hour therapy when u c them wheeling them back & forth from "GROUP THERAPY"!!!! THEY DONT CALL THE FAMILY TO C WHAT MEDS YOUR LOVE ONE IS ON, or what they putting her on......I don't understand how weekends are included when they don't do therapy on the weekend.

DONT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE TO THIS FACILITY! All the bad reviews are accurate. We thought if we watched over our 90 year-old father it would be ok and he'd get the physical therapy he needed. That didn't happen. He was there four days and it was a nightmare. In four days he didn't get a bath. In four days he only received one PT session. In four days he gained 30 pounds of water weight and they refused to give him his medicine (5 pounds is considered an emergency). My mom wanted to see his intake chart to see how much he weigh... read more

Good nurses and therapists. HOWEVER the staff and management are completely incompetent.... to lack of concern for patients... repeated mistakes, Will NEVER GO BACK TO THIS FACILITY! Mistakes put patients in danger.

I stayed here for a month (Nov-Dec 2012) following emergency spinal surgery at Brackenridge. I had been slowly becoming paralyzed from the waist down but having the most severe pain at the same time. Unable to walk and becoming incontinent, I was rushed by ambulance to two different hospitals (Round Rock and then Brackenridge) as it was decided by my surgeon that I needed decompression surgery asap.
