AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!! The direct care staff are very caring, and try to do what they can with the limited staffing that they are allowed. When visiting a family member I have seen it take over ten minutes for staff to answer a call button. Upper management however, when there is a problem, (which we had SEVERAL) is less than useless. This hospital should be avoided if you wish for your loved one to make any progress after surgery, stroke, or accident. Our family had to ask multiple times for simple assistance with toileting, bathing, dietary issues, clarification of billing issues, treatment plans, etc. The therapy staff is great! The nursing staff, supervising doctor, and case manager were rude, condescending, and had no clue about my family member as a patient. The only options presented to us were worst case scenarios. Let me start with a positive: the therapists are wonderful! They seem to really care about each patient and the patients' success is what keeps them going. As for the management that's a whole other story. If you are not a case that can be in and out in a week or if you require any specialized care this is NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU OR YOUR LOVED ONE! My mother is 92 years old, she fell and broke her hip had it fixed the next day then suffered a stroke 4 days later. 3 days after that she went from the hospital to Reliant. At the hospital she was sitting up in a chair, using a walker to transfer herself from bed to chair, and eating a regular diet before she left. I took her out of Reliant 1 week later before they killed her. She went backward in diet to soft (couldn't even eat mechanical chopped) and the food was horrible. They put her on iron pills and had to crush ... read more

This place has waffling schedules, incompetent business staff and worse very stressed out medical staff. DO NOT TAKE YOUR FAMILY HERE!!! Beds were rarely made and then with holey worn out sheets. We had to bring our own towels to ensure having a clean one!!! Wash rags were practically non-existent! My husband had both knees replaced and couldn't depend on staff to bring pain meds with out constant reminders that they were necessary before rehab therapies! HORRIBLE PLACE - if you love your family, do not come here!
