When I spoke with the sales person, I specifically asked two questions: One, would this policy work in Canada, and two, could I cancel prior to paying it in full since I was planning on moving to Canada. DON’T GET THIS WARRANTY! I was verbally berated by their customer service representative because I asked why my claim was taking 7 WEEKS to get approved even though I provided all the documentation requested and I WAS IN FULL ADHERENCE TO CONTRACT STANDARDS FOR MAINTENANCE! They push you around, treat you very poorly, and then try to deny your claim. They are thieves. ENDURANCE Dealer Services, you are a very very very very poor company.
I received an unsolicited letter from this company - not sure how they got my address - labels "Personal & Confidential" - citing a bogus alert about multiple notices I have received from them about extending the factory warranty on my vehicle. I have no car and am offended at the deceitful nature of this advertising (on the second page of the note there is a tiny line stating "This is an advertisement to obtain coverage") that would be difficult for some people to read. Received a letter to extend my expiring warranty. Addressed to my deceased father who died 2 years ago. Additional problem is he NEVER had a driver's license or owned a car. No idea what marketing list feeds such garbage mail.
I purchased an extended warranty on the vehicle. One year later I go to get the vehicle repaired, and they say it's covered BUT my vehicle was flooded so I had to pay the mechanic 150.00. The vehicle was not flooded, and after months of fighting to get the issue straight I brought the car back for repair. The second time I bring the car in the mechanic says it's covered BUT now the bearings are damaged which Endurance won't cover. I have had Endurance for 3 years this month and have finished paying my (EVERY MONTH, ON TIME PAYMENTS) AND have two more years to go. The reason why my husband and I picked this company as our warranty protection was due to the great responses. I never thought I would have 2 negative experiences (only needed to have the car looked at twice .We take care of our car). This company finds any way to not support a warranty claim. I brought my car to the dealer while my warranty was active and they found loopholes to not support my claim. I am now in the process of demanding my money back as I do not believe this is a legitimate business.
Purchased a Endurance Warranty Services policy 6 months ago and called to cancel the NEXT day. 6 months later and I'm still being charged $169.04 per month for a total of $1014.36 in fraudulent charges. After several attempts to speak to a human and being disconnected, finally spoke to someone today and upon insistence, said he would give a "pro-rated refund" -- not in full. This is not acceptable. I admit I made a late payment one time; however, it was an approved deferred payment. Subsequently, I submitted another monthly payment in which it was refused, and my policy was canceled. Thus, I lost many months of payments towards the end of paying off my policy, and had to begin a new policy. To date, the payment refund that was promised 3 weeks ago, has not been returned. Hopefully, the new relationship will not be compromised as a result of these issues.
