It’s not a 4 star hotel so temper your expectations and you’ll find it great. A short trip over the bridge to downtown (I got brave and rode the scooter), the price was pretty good. Equipped with a full-sized fridge, Stove, microwave (I don’t recall if there was an oven)- the room was spotless. There was a slight problem with the shower spigot but the front desk girls were both accommodating. They have coffee and granola bars in the lobby.
Quick getaway to Austin for the weekend. Great location, and super accessible to most things we wanted to see/do without a car. Bed was surprisingly comfy, and shower pressure was fantastic. Some cosmetic things could improve, but we had a great stay and staff was very helpful, even with a late checkin.

Good location to downtown area. Walkable to Rainey, 2nd, both ends of 6th and Red River districts

Convenient, but ratty Convenience to downtown Austin was good, but hotel was pretty worn out, in dire need of an update.
