I arrived at 4:30 pm and the room was not ready. The person at the desk said they were one hour behind, could I come back in an hour--5:30 pm. She was very nice. At 5:40 check-in she said that she would put me in another room, canceled the Expedia reservation and create a new registration at the same price. She mentioned that the original was for a handicpped accessible room, the only one they had open, and needed to save that room for someone who needed it. She said Expedia would cancel the cost. The staff did the very best with what they had to work with. They had an over abundance of check outs that day and therefore, a lot of new people waiting to check in. The guy at the counter remained calm and collected and pleasant!
The walls were filthy, the chair was stained, the sink was cracked, the carpet was sticky and the room stunk. The elevator also made an odd noise like it was on its last legs.
