The outside of the property appeared unkept and unsafe. There were homeless people wandering around. The hallways reeked of marijuana smell. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. There was no coffee maker or hairdryer in the room, which are usually pretty standard items in most hotels. The water in the shower wouldnt get hotter than luke warm. There were people being very noisy in the hallways, late at night. The carpet was dingy and disgusting.

Disappointing Experience I reserved this hotel for it's location near a very large shopping district and for convenience to freeway access. I was disappointed with the rooms appearance but i would say it was satisfactory. That said, I had to evacuate on the first night for a fire alarm which was due to some kind of hotel malfunction and the second night my car was vandalized. There was nothing special in fact it was the worse experience of my life. We got transferred from a non carpeted dirty room to a carpeted room that smelled bad it was like a wet furry animal had stayed and they never steamed cleaned the carpet. The lobby & stairwell had a bad smell, like wet dogs. I found fleas in our 2nd room the next morning. Our door dead bolt didn’t lock so we used the hook latch and we slept with our clothes on.
