Older hotel, seemed to be "locked down' at night The facility seemed to need to be locked up at night, which didn't inspire confidence that this was a safe area. I could hear other hotel guests fighting down the hall. When I left the hotel there was an abusive conversation going on at the front desk between a guest and management.

Bed was uncomfortable poor pillows and no shampoo for shower etc. but I didn't bother with calling front desk....

Horrible hotel and reception area The room was horrible. The bed was hard. Their were no extra blankets or pillows. The front desk people were not helpful at all. When I called them to ask questions, they acted like I was bothering them.

Crazy!! It took almost an hour to check~in and there was only 3 people in line. I was #2. When I got in the room I noticed the table top covered in dried up coffee while I tried to eat my now cold Wendy's burger and fries. The bedding looked as if someone laid on the bed, then housekeeping came and just pulled up the sheets. WOW!!!

The amenities only look good on paper. When I travel, my priorities for a hotel room are that it be clean and quiet and this place failed at both. The room smelled awful, the carpets were dirty, the shower was moldy, the wallpaper peeling, my sheets in my non-smoking room were covered in cigarette burns, and they didn't even bother to provide pillowcases. Easy access to I-75 For the price, I suppose I can't complain. However, the rooms need updating. The beds were like a cement block, and the towels are poor quality. The lobby, dining area and library is nice. The continental breakfast was only bagels and muffins, and they did not replenish the supplies to last until 9:00. I attempted to call the front desk several times, but my calls were never answered. I will not stay here again.

Homestead vs Homeward Suites Pretty low class, but cheap also. You get what you pay for, not much. Though twice as expensive, Homeward suites is a better deal.

no weekend breakfasts, didn't see that on the description. Broken ice machine...
