We arrived at 5:45pm and our room was not ready. We were told to come back in 10 minutes. Check in was supposed to be anytime after 3pm. This was very disappointing due having plans scheduled prior. I made reservations for one queen bed, but the attendant said she didn’t have any available so she upgraded to two beds. It is not a hotel, it is a motel. There isn’t a swimming pool, as advertised. The breakfast is instant porridge and muffins and there was only one bruised banana left at 7:10 am. When I asked if they had anymore, they said they only had two for the day and That I should’ve been in sooner. The room was old, smelled. The show head leaked and the bathroom sink leaked. I did bring it their attention and it was corrected immediately. But I was still disappointed with the room.

The fridge door was stuck closed with some goo. The floor was sprinkled with gooeing spots. I spent an hour cleaning and disinfecting myself. The drains were stuck. The suite had not been cleaned. The hardware in the bathroom (such as shower curtains, towel racks, bathtub edges were rusted. A true safety and health hazard.

The staff was unprofessional. I set up an early check-in because I was going to a party I got there at 11:30 they did not have a room available. They had a woman there who is just uncaring and said can’t help you. I waited for four hours in different stores and 39° weather with the rain. When I finally got my room I had to change quickly there were no pots and pans or anything promised for extended-stay. The room reeked of cigarette smoke everywhere. The check-in lobby smelled terrible. I got to my room (suite) and BOTH bathrooms smelled like stale cigarettes. The carpet was uneven and felt dirty. The bathroom floor had hair and an old hair pin on it. The cabinet was duck taped together (literal duck tape!) The light in the room flickered horribly. The shower leaked and heat was inconsistent.
