Ice storm in Fort Worth We were caught in a ice storm so couldn’t get to the motel . I called before thr cut off time for cancellations and the receptionist was rude and wouldn’t help and said it wasn’t her problem. I would have to call Orbitz, so I didn't get a refund and had to buy a room in the town we finally made it too driving on Black Ice.

Old stinky cheap hotel There was no free breakfast, just coffee if you could get it and some instant oatmeal packets. The hotel smelled like old cigarette smoke. The mattress was old and lumpy. The smoke alarm went off when I turned on the heater and stunk up the room like I was in a fire. Had to sleep in a cold room. It was cheap considering it had a kitchen which was the only upside.

Staff not prepared Elevator was out, staff didn’t inform guests until completely checked in (and paid). I am disabled and was assigned a room on the third floor. No way I could do three flights of stairs. Told the front desk that I could not do it and they would need to find another room for me or refund my money. She refunded my money and informed me I would see it back on my card in 5 business days. Absolutely unacceptable. I had to tell her to call the manager. They are crooks I payed for a femsle friend of mine, with a 100$ cash deposit. A man came to her room and was smoking and they kicked my lady friend out. She had 3 more days left, and did not refund my mpmey our my cash deposit.

You Get What You Pay For I can say that this place was cheap, which was what attracted me to it in the first place. Stayed for a week, felt much longer. Had to go to the desk for everything (towels, coffee maker, kitchen stuff) and even then they were frequently out of stuff. Wifi was down for half the time I was there and was spotty the rest of the time. TV selection and reception was garbage. Did I mention that the place was cheap?

Needle & Syringe found by bed, horrible smell Our 1st room had a horrible smell. We were moved to another room. That room also smelled, but not nearly as bad. In the oven we found a very cooked brownie with a fork in the pan. In between the wall and bedside table, there was a syringe with a needle attached. This is EXTREMELY dangerous AND gross. Broken AC Saturday morning the AC broke and I contacted the front desk for maintenance to look at it and she responded ok. After about an hour I called back to check on maintenance status and she told me the maintenance team don't work on weekend but fail to mention it when I original called. I requesting for her to change us to a different room expressing my concerns and she indicated there is no room available. Not worth the money The check in was easy and the young lady who checked me in was personable. The room was OK but the carpets were stained, food was around the base of the stove and dirt behind the toilet. The dining room table was wobbly and unusable. The TV picture was dim and there was no way to adjust it. The fridge had a very loud sound that I had to drown out by running the air conditioner at full blast. A REALLY NICE MOTEL 6.... Overall the place is ok, but the furniture and linens are old, the floors weren't really clean and highway construction outside was moderately annoying.
