smoking allowed at this non-smoking hotel I search hard to find a non-smoking hotel. I was delighted to find this one in the neighborhood I was searching. But smoking was everywhere. This more than ruined my stay.
Bad experience. Hotel advertized as totally non-smoking. NOT. Non-smoking signs everywhere, but ashtrays everywhere too. No help from the hotel front desk. No help from hotels.com
this non-smoking hotel is for smokers I have asthma. I only stay in completely non-smoking hotels. So was really taken back to find someone leaning against my vehicle smoking when I went down to retrieve luggage. When I ask the person to leave he moved away from my vehicle and smoked next to the NO-SMOKING sign by his room. Then a woman comes out to smoke as well. smoke filled non smoking room Our non smoking room smelled like 20 years of cigarette smoke. There was no quilt or heavy blanket in the room. The faucet in the bathroom drizzled water. We booked for two nights but couldn't stay. Would never book there again. The only reason we booked it in the first place was because the marathon had book all the other hotels nearby.
convenient to Baylor Surgi Center Requested a 4 am wake up call as I had to be at Surg Ctr at 6 am. Staff tolf me she was putting it in right then. Never got the call! Lucky I had some back-up measures in place.

Under construction and Dirty. I visited on 11/3/14. They were under construction so NO running water, tons of noise. I requested non smoking room. They said they were fully booked and placed me in a room with cigarette smell. When I called to request for a change of room, they said all they can do was spraying deodorizer. Very dirty bed. Pillow smelled like BO and hair was everywhere. I would not stay there and this reflected badly how Extended Stays are in general.

asked for non smoking got a smoking room smoking room, phones didnt work, asked for help from the front office. no response.
Extended Stay Dallas/Fortworth Probably one of the most low budget and poorly run hotels I have stayed in over the past 30 years. First off we styed 10 days and only received house cleaning ONE day. (You pay extra for daily) With that they didn't even give us wash rags or new cups. The kitchen drawers were actually falling/crumbling apart so every time we used the little sink we would rub on the drawer and it would crumble. Great location but lacking in service. The location is excellent; near to major roads and attractions, but set back near the river, so there is no traffic noise. Amenities are few, and bath tub has been caulked and re-caulked so much that it seems like it isn't clean. It may be clean, but just looks uninviting. Somehow, I expected there to be actual breakfast; but when I arrived it was called a 'grab and go' breakfast.
