Convenient but you’re on your own. This hotel is somewhat dated and I noticed that the carpets were stained. The bed was okay, but the "fully equipped kitchen” was misleading since there were no pans or plates or utensils of any kind. They had no breakfast or coffee because they “hadn’t gotten a shipment in.” I liked the price compared to other nearby hotels and it is only a 1/2 mile from MD Anderson so you can walk to appointments.

The front desk manager is great … always nice to meet with happy person after long tiresome drive

It’s all about location. This hotel is within the campus of MD Anderson medical complex. It is neat and clean and in good repair. They have a small kitchenette but no cups, plates or utensils. The bed was comfortable but the top blanket was very thin for my liking. Overall, while lacking those little extra touches, if I was going to MD Anderson on a budget, I would recommended it.

March reservation This stay was for a medical appointment. There were several roaches in the room and vagrants outside the hotel. When getting ready the morning of the appointment, there was no one at the front desk and one of the vagrants got in. Not happy with this.
