Woke up to a cockroach in my bed. Then saw 4 additional ones in the room. When I reported it to the front desk they were unapologetic and did not even care.

I called prior to my stay more than once that I would need a king size bed and was told that my reservation was confirmed. I arrived just an hour after check in time to be told that I could not have a king size bed and the staff was very rude in the way this was handled. I was told that the cleaning service didnt show up to work and that I could take it up with the manager.

They promised a so many step cleaning process but when we got our room it was nasty. It was mainly the restroom. There was hair in the sink and a used bar of soap still sitting in the top right of the tub. The hotel was okay, didn’t seem too well taken care of. Had a strange smell, old elevator. Elevators power shut off while we used it, light shut off and we couldn’t open the doors for about a minute. Stay wasn’t like my previous stay with extended stay America.

Room smelled of smoke The room was so saturated with the smell of cigarette smoke, they had left the window open to try to compensate. Very old fridge, sinks. Not a pleasant place to be.

Cigarette smoke We chose this hotel because they could accommodate our large group of swim families. Upon check in, only 3 of the 10 rooms stayed. Our room smelled of cigarette smoke so bad that we went and purchased air fresheners. We found cigarette butts behind the bed.
