such a surprise So close to the airport...which is a HUGE PLUS! The staff were ready, available and funny , very comforting after a 5 hr flight. I was glad to find a room that had MORE than I needed, at MY preference. The fridge was available so we could buy and fill it with our favorite juices, sodas and fruits as soon as the stores opened. For the whole stay, we had the option of what to put in the fridge. Better yet, no housekeeping unless we asked for it...which sounds kind of odd, but when ya are in Alaska, your hotel r... read more

Great hotel across the road from Juneau airport Was very impressed with the Extended Stay in Juneau, our room was spacious with some kitchenette facilities, the bathroom was more then adequate and very clean.. the shuttle to airport is not really necessary as it is a simple hop across the road unless you have too many bags to manage. close to the Mendenhall Glacier plus a number of restaurants and a mall nearby. long wait hotel and staff were fine, across the street from airport no need for a cab...My big and only real complaint is only one person behind counter to check people in and out so wait was ridiculous. I stayed there two separate times and waited a half an hour to get to the front of the line.

shuttle service not good the shuttle that picked us up at the airport had torn, ragged seat covers. not confidence inducing. the shuttle driver was 15 minutes late to work the morning of our departure making for a very stressful time. it was so far from town that it was quite expensive getting a taxi back and forth from town.
