Ended up with a smoking room I've stayed in this hotel before and was given a regular non-smoking room. Upon checking in, the front desk person said because I booked through Expedia I would only get a smoking room. I've never ran into this problem before. In fact I've used Expedia to book most of my hotel rooms and always have had a regular non-smoking room. I'm not sure why the Extended Stay put me in a smoking room. I wasn't very happy about this. I booked a regular room not a smoking room.

Convenient for Travelers You can easily walk to the hotel from the airport, even with luggage. They take pets.

Nice Hotel for business travelers. My three night stay was very nice and quite affordable... The staff was excellent and the room was comfortable and exactly what I needed for conducting business in Juneau. I will stay there again when I return.

Shuttle bus service You, Expedia, advertises this hotel as having shuttle bus service from airport. They do not. They said they have have brought this to your attention numerous times. My gripe is not with them but with you for continuing to say this service is available . I had to get a cab both ways

Close to the airport I have been in the hotel a number of times over a period of 4 years. It is a convenience being walking distance to the airport. It is true, this hotel do offer transportation which is great for longer destination like the ferry terminal but I prefer to walk when possible. The staff was very professional. The room was quite comfortable and clean. The drawback, since, apparently, some or many of the rooms offer kitchen facilities, is grocers are not distance convenient. I would recommend this hotel, sent a cab to pick me up at Auke Bay ferry terminal.
