I should have walked back out the front door as soon as I walked in. When I enter the hotel there was a pungent smell immediately. Once I checked in a got to the room it looked terrible. The floors were difficult to determine what the color used to be. The counter top swayed about 6 inches in the middle and everything just looked dirty. The free breakfast was not in the lounge you had to go ask for your free granola bar from behind the main desk, and the coffee was very bad. Meh. Room was meh. When we first got there it was really muggy. the kitchenette only had 1 chair. The bathroom shower knob was like 1/2 glued on and there was only 1 fabric shower curtain. No plastic curtain to prevent water mess. Breakfast was held behind the counter. Which was not mentioned to us at check in. So we almost missed out completely. It’s consisted of oatmeal packets and packages muffins.

First room smelled so bad of cigarette smoke with the couches terribly stained that we were so thankful to find the kitchen had flooded to at least switch to another room, however the front desk first came up with towels and a bucket like she'd just clean it and we'd stay - which I think says it all already. Our room was dirty. The floor was not clean. There was a feminine hygiene wrapper under the bed. The sheets did not appear to be clean. This is a non smoking property but there was a smoke smell. I also found a live ant in my bed. All of this said, I kinda understand you get what you pay for. What really made me upset was when my son went to the front desk clerk and asked for an extra pillow he was told he couldn't have one. Really? I was dumbfounded.
