We were not informed while booking, that there wasn’t any type of breakfast, the only thing provided was free tea, Coffee & an apple. If you wanted a Bowel of CEREAL you were required to pay $2.00 plus buy milk ! We rented a car and drove 1500 miles for Army Graduation and didn’t have any extra money after gas & hotel charge to buy food for 3 days. There lack caused great discomfort.

First off, the first room they tried to put us in was full of smoke smell. For a smoke free facility this was unacceptable as my wife is alergic to cigarete smoke. Second, we booked a 2 room studio suite but got a single bed room. We were told they were out of the studio suites. If we booked and got confirmation for this type of room, we should have been given what we booked. We will not stay at this location again.

The hotel canceled my reservations without notice due to a plumbing issue which ruined several rooms. I arrived in Lawton at 11:40pm. I had to call the hotel myself to find out. They told me I had to call Travelocity, who were not very helpful. I had a security guard and a taxi driver help me find a room at another hotel that had a last minute no show. Every hotel in Lawton was booked. I never went to Candlewood suites, so I can’t rate it. Someone should have communicated the issue before I arrived in Lawton!!!!

Had a couple at the end of the hall screaming at each other down the hall off and on throught the night and people stomping around upstairs woke me up several times. Was told thet had trouble with some hooligans (their words not mine). I gave up when it was still going on at 3am and just sucked it up and made the 4 hr trip home. Seriously if you are getting several complaints about a group kick them or call the police. If nothing else change my room.
Heck to the naw There were bed bugs on the beds, when we called the front desk the enployee at the desk said there was no manager so they sent a mechanic that fixes sinks and toilets, and when he pulled the covers back the matresses looked like they havent been replaced since the cold war. The room smelt of some food had been left over and had gotten moldy, the air was stagnant and did not feel comforting what so over, we had to spray febreeze every 5 mins just to make the smell of the room bareable. Buyer beware BUYER BEWARE. This is an extended stay, which means cleaning once a week, no clean towels, no additional coffee(without asking) or trash emptied. Room was not very clean baseboards are dirty and splatter marks on the walls. Found a bed bug on the comforter our last day there. Phoned desk to inform them and “thanks for letting us know” was the only response.

Mary at front desk is awesome. Bugged her so many times and she never batted an eye. She stayed helpful and cheerful.
