smelled like dog I was placed in an animal friendly room, even though I didn't have an animal, on the first floor, so basically my room spelled like dog. Also, I was near the side exit and the door banged all night and day as people were entering and existing. It was so loud at times it shook my bed. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and desperately need an upgrade. I asked for 3 days to get coffee for my room and I was told they were out and there was free coffee in the lobby. The workers rarely wore masks while in the ... read more
Business response:
The entire hotel is animal friendly. I am certain that ever room in our hotel has had animals in the room. If you are not an animal person I would not recommend staying at any Candlewoods. We do try our best to clean up as best we can. However, if you did not notified us about the problem we can't fix it.
Not sanitary dureing pandemic During covid, you would expect the rooms to be extra clean. Our room had stains on pillows, towels. Carpet was not clean. Coffee pot had molded old coffee filter pack still in coffee pot. Elevator had hand prints all in it. The only sanitary thing was located outside of elevators.
This hotel was very unorganized. They posted check in time is from 3pm but I wasn’t able to check in and receive my room till 7pm. They charged my credit card twice and they would tell me to call back for a manager on Monday ( I call on a Thursday btw). This proves that they operate without a manager for days, and they can just run the hotel however they want.
Hotel was overbooked on a Saturday on Labor Day weekend. We had to drive around for an hour looking for a place to stay. We were 5 hours away from home. Very disappointed!
Need a new leaning team The cleanliness of this hotel is unacceptable. I’ve stayed several times because the location is very convenient. Every visit I’ve had issues with the cleanliness of my room. This is unacceptable.
The front desk was very slow - took 30 minutes to get checked in and then the agent was unsure about our second night being confirmed and said I'd have to check out and check back in again. There weren't enough towels for 3 people in the room. Didn't realize the room wouldn't be cleaned each day. Our beds weren't made and bathroom not cleaned.
I like how there is a kitchen and the room are good sized but my bed blanket was very dirt and looked like blood in the blanket
Bare bones and not worth what you pay for. Unaware maid service only once per week. Bring your own soap as only small face bar in bathroom and shower container empty. Desk chair wouldn’t lift up so like sitting on floor. Iron leaked water the whole time. Poor cheap construction so could clearly hear adjacent and top and bottom rooms with loud cussing occupants. Desk reception staff lazy and understaffed.
I liked how it was near the fort sill base and so many restaurants and stores around. Also enjoyed there was a mini kitchen. I disliked how it’s really outdated, the restroom was dirty water was leaking .It felt like a cheap motel
