Great hotel The Yorktown Extended Stay is probably the nicest one in the area. When compared to the last one I stayed at, the difference is night and day. Even when compared to other hotels I've been to, the service at this location is difficult to beat. I also like that the laundry facilities accept digital payment and cards. One downside though is the situation with the remote. The only buttons that work are volume and channel up/down and the power button. We had a lot of problems with door key cards. Had to have them rekeyed every time we went out.

The bedding was poor and not enough pillows

I loved the room itself, but there were absolutely no signs of humanity on the inside. I didn’t even have toilet paper in my room when I checked in, and when I asked for some there was no one to help me.

Nice place Nice room. My only concern was no dish soap in the room to wash dishes. Concerned people my have just rinsed and put away.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The grounds were neat and clean. Construction was going on but that shows positive signs so I wasn't bothered. I didn't expect the room to feel so worn and dated. It was very clean upon arrival but the walls were beat up/dirty and the fabrics of the furniture torn. This is not the staff's fault but the company to not provide updates. I also understand this type of property is "lived in" vs. a standard hotel room so maybe my expectations were too high.
