Decent hotel with poor complementary internetspeed I have only one gripe, the complementary internet connection is too slow, just .75 Mbps. Very disappointed with the internet speed. They are just referring to the third party provider to contact, who said the internet speed meets their expectations, so asking the customer to upgrade if they want 3 times that speed.

The hotel was in a very convenient location for downtown Oakland and getting off and on freeways.

Nice room at a great price! This is my second stay at this hotel, in a relatively short time period. This time, I wasn't upgraded to a nicer room but the room we had was nice, clean, and comfortable. The phone didn't work and we had problems with the air conditioning someone at the front desk helped us sort out. Overall, I'm very pleased with my stay at this hotel and will consider staying here again.
Too many work crews and such... Kept running into foreign work crews during the week nights. I guess its a place where their contractors choose to put them up. They were loud outside my room door, and because of the language difference I did not feel confident that I could ask them to quiet down. Breakfast(!?) offering was not appetizing. But I rested fine once things settled down. And the hotel was centrally located with easy access to three freeways, San Francisco, Oakland, and the East Bay.

Only down pillows Stay was good and staff was friendly. Not luxury but nice enough to stay again. They had only down pillows so we had to get another pillow for my wife who is allergic.

NO lobby space, NO kitchen supplies, NO lobby space. Kitchenette had NO coffee maker, utensils, nothing. Room was small in comparison to the Nearby Extended Stay - Alameda. This building site had the feel of an overcrowded apartment building --- looked and smelled tired.
