Budget features The hotel wasn't what I thought it was. With the full refrigerator and stove I was thinking it would be a pretty nice place. I didn't realize housekeeping was extra or even that it was available for an extra fee until the last day. The same was true with pots, pans, dishes, etc. There were none there and we didn't realize they were available for rent. Also missing were basic amenities such as an ice machine in the building. You don't get a second chance to make a first impr The front desk staff was wonderful. However, the room was disappointing. First thing was the remote control didn't work so I had to get another one. There were no kitchen items unless I was told I had to ask for then. I did have one plastic cup which was nice. The room had a full size refrigerator as if I needed that much room. Different room from what was booked Overall, the trip was one to forget. We booked a room with two beds, as it was two adult males travelling together. They "upgraded" us to a single king room, with a pull out couch. I asked to have the double room instead, and they said they didn't have any available, which is why they changed out booking. The couch bed was very uncomfortable and provided several nights of poor sleeping. The rest of the room was adequate. Reeked of smoke We had two rooms and they both reeked of smoke as if we walked in just as someone finished a cigarette. It was awful. They don't provide housekeeping on short stays so be prepared for that and the "free" breakfast consisted of granola bars, packaged muffins, instant oatmeal and coffee/tea. The staff was friendly when they were around.

Poor value for your money compared to other hotel Compared to the Best Western we stayed in the night before in Corning Ca, this hotel was more money but the room was NOT as large, nice, equipped ( blow dryer, coffee maker ). The breakfast was just coffee & muffins, compared to BW various hot and cold items in a breakfast room , they also had a pool and exercise room. Will not stay with this hotel chain again!!

Blue Haze This property is smoking and non smoking. The rooms were clean but all smelled of smoke to varying degrees. The ventilation seems to carry smoke into room as well. The reservation was not so good. called the 800 number of the chain first to find out specifics on the hotel. was told that they had King rooms with sofa bed. So made the reservation with Hotels.com. when I arrived. I was told that they don't have any roll away beds or sofa beds. They tried to "upgrade" me to dual full beds as consolation. You can do better. They could do better with breakfast, i.e., no fruit, no milk for oatmeal. No coffee in room, have to ask for the pot, coffee cups, and spoon etc. No coffee in lobby outside of breakfast hours. People smoking right at front door most of the time so have to walk through that each time, please move them away from entrances.
