Bad bed. Not comfortable

When checking in around 7pm I waited in an empty lobby with no desk clerk for a solid 5 -7 minutes. Finally a lady came in from outside... she had been smoking apparently. Got checked in, went to dinner without going to our room first, came back at 11pm. In the room there were two hersheys candy wrappers on the floor near the nightstand. The bed was made but when I pulled back the top cover there was at least 15 strands of long black hair and one public hair all over the sheets. We are sure this was a result of miscommunication between our Housekeeping and Front Office Departments since a suite should not be made available for occupancy until the cleaning process is complete and it has been inspected by a supervisor. Mediocre experience. I may not have stayed in many Extended Stay hotels in the past, but this felt like a bit of an apartment building. It was OK, but not super comfortable or anything. I suppose that I'd stay here again, if needed, but would likely prefer an alternate hotel in many cases. If I was trying to save money and was ok with a mediocre room, this would be a fine place to stay.

We checked in quite late and we were greeted by the night laundry lady, who was very welcoming and super energetic. However, the room we had booked was not available due to over booking via Expedia. After 2 hours of being on the phone back and forth, as well as it being very late, we were given a smoking room (I don't smoke) with a small bed for the two of us. The whole floor as soon as you come out the elevator was saturated with the smell of cigarette smoke. At this point I had no choice as I was very tired.

We got in early evening and the desk person was nice but there was a fan, not connected to the air conditioning, that was incredibly loud and stayed on the whole stay. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room but smelled like cigarettes and there was actually a broken cigarette (among other debris) under the bed. It was a very uncomfortable stay.

I booked the room using Expedia and booked a non smoking room. When I arrived to check in I was told the hotel did not have non smoking rooms in the hotel. I have stayed at this hotel before and have booked here numerous times to have friends and family stay while in town visiting. I will never use this hotel again. I will continue using Expedia but will not use Extanded Stay.

TraveLIEcity and Awful Experience First, Travelocity had me pay up front (about $100) for a NON-smoking,king bed room for 1 night. When i arrive with my girlfriend and our 1 year old son, the front desk lady tells me that they have NO rooms available and unfortunately i was not eligible to get a refund. She offered a smoking room with 2 twin beds (even though i have a baby with me). She kept saying she had no rooms for us and we basically were out of luck. Sleepless (And Flea Bitten) In Tumwater No clean towels or bedding for 6 days. Landline phone not working, tv kept turning black/white, reported to front desk, technician never showed up. Fleas were attacking me when my feet on floor and I must’ve brought them to the bed, because I was getting bit and couldn’t sleep good.
