The location is perfect - walk to a large open-air mall with a food store and a number of restaurants - and very near 78. Easy drive to Escondido, into San Marcos, to Cal State, etc. The property is very well-kept, and the staff were very pleasant. This is pet-friendly, so expect a lot of dogs - but we rarely heard any barking at all. The rooms are clean, with lots of outlets for plugging in electronic devices. My family stayed here over the weekend to visit Legoland in August 2025. The room was very roomy and comfortable. There was a sink, large fridge, and microwave. However, all the amenities like soap, dish towels, shampoos, etc. are all at the front desk. You have to ask for it, it isn't provided in the room before you check in. Best Extended Stay @ SD Best extended stay I’ve been to. Very clean & very quiet. Staff is superb and very accommodating. Definitely worth the price & the stay.
