Hotel Good... Not the Phone Call Beforehand My hotel experience here was actually great for what I expected. It was tidy, quiet, and had blackout curtains that were probably my favorite part of my stay. What was a bummer, however, was that I was called on the day of check-in and asked if my reservation could be moved to a different hotel "20 minutes away" in San Mateo. Extended Stay America No frills hotel, cheaper than most and central to local tech businesses. There is no dining around, so if you intended to grab a bite do it on your way back to the hotel or be prepared to taxi or drive. Some rooms are updated, others are not.... Staff is friendly enough and accommodating. This is a hotel, not a motel as so many other places in San Jose are. An adventure for a cheep price Price reasonable, short walk to Levi stadium, industrial with no restaurants, not the friendliest service, pretty sure a mouse was getting in our cracker jacks, no blow dryer.
