The restroom in the lobby was filthy. Toilet bowl soiled... room was super low end basic. Not even a cheap plastic glass to drink from. Room was not serviced ... keys did not work 3 times I had to go down to the front desk to have them redone. Keys were dirty, sticky and used It was my first and last stay at extended America. Awful

Hair in the bathroom, forgotten socks and bottle top from a previous guest, and something that looked like diarrhea on the mattress skirt......

Never again They charge $10.00 a hour for early check-in. It's an extended stay with no dishes, pots or utensils in the room. You have call to front desk a request what you need. No ice machine on the property, they offer little plastic ice trays.

Called the front desk to confirm if my wife could checking first, though the reservation was under my card, something we’ve done countless times at this Extended Stay, but got hassled on the phone and then eventually, as if doing me a favor, a paying customer, they allowed it. Secondly, one of the lamps was missing a bulb. This was our 6th stay in the last 6 months and the staff do not make an effort in “knowing”their customers. One of their employees was kind but the rest are not very warm. If you can, do not stay here.

Dissapointed Arrived on Friday (Memorial Weekend). The room I was given had an air conditioner that didn't function properly(would only stay on for about a minute at a time). When I called the front desk, I was told to unplug it and try again, which I did. When this didn't work, I called back and was told that there is "nothing I can do, we're full and there is no maintenance person here". I was then told to "open the window", which had a lock that prevented it from opening more than 1.5 inches.... No shampoo in the bathroom... read more

Bad service, I will never recommended! We stay 2 days and Sunday night and Monday we was without a hot water and the hotel just said “sorry”. The day when we was leaving since 9 am the house kipper was asking for us to leave when the check out was 11 am.

Disappointing We are still waiting for the refund for 2 unused days we cancelled as instructed one day before we were leaving. We booked through hotel.com for 7 days (May 10-17) in San Rafael and paid with VISA upon our arrival. I specifically asked if we can cancel couple days earlier and were told “No problem”. I approched the front desk lady on May 14 informing her that we would be leaving 2 days earlier. Again “No problem” reply. Door Lock jammed The door handle to my room wasn’t working properly. It got real bad when my wife and I left the room. We had to go back inside the room, but the door wouldn’t open. The door lock stayed on at all times. We told the manager about and it wasn’t until next day that we got our belongings from the room. The manager had to call a locksmith to crack it open. It’s clear that maintenance is not up to par.
