My room had a weird smell of tuna. Overall this place is simular to a motel 6.

Ehhh... The hotel itself over all wasn’t that bad, but it defitnley wasn’t the nicest place to stay. When we arrived and got our room keys we walked down the hall way and smelt the most horrible smell ever. Still not sure what it was, but it was bad! Also, just for the people looking to stay here in the future, this is one of those hotels where construction works stay all week and then go home on the weekends. The wife and I will stay somewhere else next time we’re in Santa Rosa.

Decent alternative depending on rates My expectations for this brand is always a notch below most places, but the north location is the best by far. Area location is perfect, a better part of Santa Rosa with instant freeway 101 access without feeling like the place is right on the freeway. Weekend Summer rates can be insanely high here though so booking ahead pays off

..there were not any cups, dishes, etc. in the kitchenette. ....there was only one light blanket on the bed and I was cold. MSNBC was not available on the television and my friend and I wanted to watch a number of news shows.

Floor/carpet was very dirty. We walked around in the room barefooted and our feet got filthy. Getting in shower our feet left brown footprints in the tub. After showers and walking around in the room we had to rewash our feet before putting on socks and shoes.

The location is good, room is comfortable but the bathroom is dirty. There is no hair dryer.

The room we stayed in was once a smoking room, and the smell was awful. They are doing some remodeling, which should help. This hotel works for us because of location. It isn't really geared towards short term stays. Breakfast so minimal.
