they cut a lot of corners I wasn't satisfied. The walls were thin (I heard the guy snoring in the next room). Foot steps in the room above sounded like a drum beat. They lock the hotel at night without guest access. The bathroom: no lotions or conditioner, no drinking glass, just a bar of soap. No closet. No hair dryer, no iron. Clean linens and towels just once a week. Unsecure internet. Too expensive for what they provide says I.

Business response:

Thank you for your recent review of your stay. We strive to provide guests with all the comforts of home, so we are disappointed to hear that you were not satisfied with your stay. We do lock our front door at night for guest safety, but, all the outside doors can be unlocked with your room key. We apologize that you were not informed that we provide amenities, such as blow dryers and shampoo, at the front desk. We will review your feedback with our front desk staff to make sure we are fully informing our guests at check-in.... read more

Ehh... When staying in a hotel - you expect a minimum level of service - like maid service, linen changes, new towels, kitchen supplies to be in kitchen, shampoo and soap to be in room, and a place that doesn't smell like an ash tray...it could be me...but it's not. All of the above were missing and I had to get from the front desk each time - ridiculous. Poor front desk person was over worked - felt sorry for him....Not going to stay again.

Business response:

Thank you for your recent review of your stay. We strive to provide guests with all the comforts of home, so we are disappointed to hear that we did not meet your expectations. To ensure we provide clean and fresh kitchenware, we store our customizable kitchen packs in a sterile environment and deliver the items to our guest's room upon request. We apologize for not explaining this or our housekeeping policies to you at check-in. We will work with our front desk staff to make sure your experience is not repeated. Thank you a... read more

DO NOT STAY HERE WOW!!! Total lack of personality by evening front desk staff. Was told no dishes, glasses, coffee maker, etc...were in the room. When asked why I was told for "Convenience". Who's convenience...certainly not mine. The room simply looked bare and the sheets in my opinion were not changed. When I asked for another room or new sheets they wanted to see my room. Clearly not changed the clerk said "what's wrong with these sheets"? REALLY? (after I offered to change them myself) How about, sorry you're not satisfi... read more

Bare Bones Comfort First time staying in an Extended Stay America property so didn't know there was no daily maid service and minimal amenities like scratchy toilet paper and 2 bars of soap. Kitchen barely stocked with dishes, pans, utensils and the tiny packet of dishsoap was inadequate. Guests have to request more towels and soap at the front desk, Cooking eggs set of the smoke detector in spite of running the stove fan. Nasty smells from cooking in other rooms. The bare halls felt a bit creepy in thier emptiness, especial... read more

Pretty depressing place Paid for a king, got a queen. First room hadn't been cleaned, got a new room. Woke up to a fire alarm on the last day, probably due to someone burning breakfast in their room. Overall the place was dimly lit, smelled like smoke, apparently has theft problems, and in general felt slightly sketchy.

Business response:

We appreciate you bringing your experience to our attention. We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences that you experienced during check-in. We will be working with our front desk staff and our housekeeping team to ensure that everything in our hotel is up to our standards and running smoothly. Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback from your stay. We hope that you will give us the opportunity to provide you with a better stay the next time you're in the area.

Not kid friendly! The hallways smelled of smoke - even on the non smoking floor. There is no lobby to walk around in with your small, restless children. The beds were small and very uncomfortable. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Will not stay here again though.

Business response:

Carol – Thank you for providing us with details about your stay. We appreciate your kind comments regarding our staff; however, I apologize that you experienced the smell of smoke in the hallways. I will be meeting with our housekeeping staff to ensure this problem does not continue. As well, I am sorry that you found your beds to be small and uncomfortable. Your feedback will be helpful as we continue to improve our guest experience. We do hope you will choose to stay with us again so we can provide you with a better experi... read more

Incompetent The fire alarm went off at midnight and awoke us out of a dead sleep. The only staff available was a laundry worker at the front desk. All he could say is "a crazy woman pulled the fire alarm" and gave us no further instruction. We all wandered out to the parking lot and waited for the fire engines to come and see that all was ok. Certainly they couldn't have prevented a crazy woman from pulling the alarm, but the least they could do is have a competent front desk worker on staff to help during this emergency. Wh... read more

Business response:

I received a copy of your review, and wanted to take a moment to personally respond. Please know that we are sincerely sorry that the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and your sleep was interrupted. Also, that our night laundry attendant didn't provide you with further instruction on what steps to take . I am going to give our employees further training on what to do when an emergency arises to ensure that they can provide our guests with more information and act more efficiently in an emergency in the future. ... read more
