Bothered by cigarette smell - go elsewhere. Room was fine but the cigarette smell in the hotel is noticeable from the time we entered the elevator. I read somewhere that the third floor allows smoking and of course our room was on the third floor. My room was designated as non-smoking - hmmm??

When we arrived to check-in, the clerk was beyond exasperated because the room key encoder was not functioning. He was all out of sorts and not fully professional. We said we'll go to a local restaurant and it should be solved by then. It was not. As long as we would be able to check in by nightfall, I wasn't too worried or upset, but I don't think this is or should be par for the course. The rest of our one-night stay was so unremarkable, I cannot even recall if the hotel offered breakfast.
