Any Port in a Storm We booked this hotel the day before Hurricane Matthew arrived in Florida. We live in the same town as the hotel, however, our house was located in a flood zone and we had to evacuate. The hotel never lost power, which was great! It was pet-friendly, which was not a feature we needed but we thought was also great. We never heard any animals except when we ventured outside the room. No frills, cheaper place in a nice area Nothing fancy about this extended stay, but it's fine for what it is. I was only staying one night. I needed ice, but there are no ice machines. The nice fella working the counter gave me a 4 ice-maker trays for the small freezer in the room. So, a trip across the street to the gas station for ice. But all i needed was a decent place to lay my head for the night.

Close to the towncenter mall, stores and food If these hotels would just tile or vinyl the floors they'd be super, carpets get smelly. The room we had was large, comfortable and had an efficient kitchenette to use.

Everyone, with the exception of one woman at the desk, was above and beyond polite and helpful. Isaiah, was always helpful and cheerful. The housekeeping staff ALWAYS spoke and were very pleasant. Aside from the lady during the daytime who was incompetent, rude, and uncaring, I enjoyed my stay here

The hotel was fine and as expected. We were there for graduation ceremonies at UNF so on a schedule. When I went in to shower, it was broken. Went to office, maintenance was pretty quick to respond; came in, said they fixed it but then the water would not turn off! I could not shower in my room and had to go over to campus to shower in my daughter's dorm. A little inconvenient on a stressful day. Not even a "Sorry for the inconvenience" to us. That was a little disappointing. Otherwise no worries.
It was great I felt like a Queen sleeping in the king sized bed
