Close to the beach. There was a blood stain on my pillow case. There was blood in the bottom of the tub. I had to call front desk once I checked in so they could send a housekeeper up to my room. I have experience in housekeeping so I know what to look for and what to expect whenever I stay in a hotel. Once the housekeep got to my room I cleaned the bathroom myself since they were incapable of cleaning it correctly the first time. Far from a hidden gem I provided a full review on trip advisor, but let me have a quick run down. Hidden and out of sight is this WoodSprings that is far from an hidden gem.The staff at check in was nice with speedy service. The halls as well as elevator had a stench and out dated flooring. The room's fridge disturbed my sleep with its random rattling or fan noise. The bathroom had filth running on the borders and filth in the corners. Awful staff The staff was extremely rude and not accomdating at all. First of all, the hotel reeked of smoke and then the hotel bed was sooo uncomfortable. I called downstairs for more towels because they only had two and she asked me "why" and gave me an attitude. We were three women staying there for four nights and not once did they change our towels!

Last minute stay Elevator reacked of smoke, small table dirty with sticky stuff on it, floor had dead bug on it, pillow and sheets had a "used" smell. I put a towel over the pillow because of the smell. No ice machine. Nice town, poor hotel.

Do not stay here More like a welfare hotel than a overnight hotel. First room we were given had terrible smell. Next room had terrible sofabed. We stayed because it was late and too tired to move.

First time staying here. The mattress was impossible to sleep on. The next AM. I watched two bugs march over the bedspread, I mashed them on the bed and reported this to the staff. Staff said they would report this and photograph the bugs.I haven't heard from the manager yet. We are NOT crank guests, we don't trash the room or disturb other guests. I would like to get some feedback from the management about this complaint.

Dirty hotel smells like smoke The rooms was dirty. The staff was rude. The hotel smells like a ash tray. Did not stay and I want a refund .

Get their act together The price was ok, but that was about it... we waited at the desk at least 15 minutes to get checked in... and finally after calling them twice - we got checked in. You have to switch out towels each day if you want clean ones - which was ok... but, the biggest problem we had was getting anyone to do anything! One morning (4 am) clogged up and the toilet overflowed... so I had to use all of the clean towels to prevent flooding... could I call and get new towels and someone to fix the toilet??? NO...
