Hotel Stay Our experience at the Homestead was very accommodating. We were able to store food and cook it as well. There was also a laundry room. There was even a basketball rim for our grandchildren to play basketball. The rooms were slightly higher than our prepay rate at a neighboring hotel, however we did not have to spend money eating out 2-3 times a day. We were also able to wash.

Hotel Review THis overall was okay. The experience could have been better if the bed was soft and the air would turn off. We could not get the AC to turn down even after using the controls.

Close to Dulles Airport The room is simple but clean and comfortable, however, the bathroom, although a non-smoking room, smelled of cigarettes. We suspect that a smoking person used the room and smoked in the bathroom because of the exhaust fan. The kitchenette was a good convenience.

Weekend retreat It was very nice and quite without disturbances. It was very hot out would have been nice to have gone swimming.

Nice place and good services. We enjoy the place, near the Airport. Securiry good, we saw the police went for other room. We were safe and comfortable.

Not Impressed This hotel is right by Dulles airport and should only be used by airport guests that are stranded at the airport and are waiting for a flight the next day. The rooms are outdated and not thoroughly cleaned. The staff at the desk was absent when I went to see them about gym usage in the surrounding area and was generally short with me and not accomidating. My stay was during the 20" of snow DC got and they didn't shovel or salt the side walks or parking lot. I had to ice skate to get to my room! I will not be st... read more
