Happy with hotel a late night arrival, a short sleep, everything went well, as expected.
great location, near malls my favourite hotel of ALL time. a real quiet and surrene setting with bushes and trees hotel bed was HUGE HUGE HUGE A+
Homestead Washington DC- Sterling Needs a lot of updating of fixtures in the kitchenette and bathroom. There were no closet doors and the shelving had a sharp edge. Other than that I the stay was fine.
The Homestead Hotel in Washington D.C. Sterling The hotel was located close to Dulles Airport and the Staff was very friendly. We did have a problem with the toilet becoming clogged overnight. It was sufficient for an overnight stay.
Homestead - Dulles Airport Hard time identifying the place - no signs. Landscaping people working there not happy with us leaving and returning. Unit was clean - slept well.
Not a bad place to only sleep My overall experience was OK. Basically I was just in town for the night, and needed a place to sleep. The hotel was located right off the interstate, but was kind of difficult to spot (the only business sign they had was facing the interstate. Nothing to let you know you were in the right place when you got there.) Bad start, but worth the price A few neutral things to start with: 1 - They only clean your room, make your bed, do the towels, etc... if you ask (Me? I greatly enjoy the privacy, but if you prefer housekeeping, keep that in mind.) 2 - They don't supply shampoo in the bathroom unless you ask. Not a big deal, most travelers carry toiletries with them, but once again, something to keep in mind. 3 - Internet: they charge a single $4.99 fee for your entire stay, and they only run a wireless B. Great hotel at a great price I only stayed one night but the hotel room was very nice. It was an excellent price and very convenient location close to the airport. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay at other Homestead hotels.
