Homestead at Dulles, best bang for the buck! Wonderful room, hotel staff and service. Spacious and roomy, probably the best extended stay place I've ever stayed at. I'd recommend to anyone and everyone in the area, especially for those who are stuck at Dulles Airport for a night. Thanks for everything, guys, hope to see you soon!

Close to rt 28 and the toll road Hotel sits near an industrial area and is rather dirty. My room had a missing closet door and broken AC. Had 3 false fire alarms while I was there and from speaking to another guest it seems like it happens often. There is a gas station within walking distance to the hotel with a mini mart. Hotel is right off RT28 and the toll road is within 2 minutes. RT 66 and RT 7 are within 10 minutes. Dulles air port is about 5 to 10 minutes away. Convenient Location I chose this hotel for its convenient location and comparatively low price. Based on the reviews I read prior to booking I was not expecting a luxury hotel, or even a recently updated hotel. The room was smallish, with the basic amenities of an extended stay style hotel, but it had old/shabby everything. However, the pillows and bed were comfortable and the TV, microwave, refrigerator and shower all worked perfectly. I only had 2 reasons to complain during my stay. Homestead Studio on Catalina Ct., Sterling VA Good, clean rooms. Good customer service.

suggestion Get new carpet to get rid of muggy smell and get new air units or clean out the coils for cleaner air. I had a sinus headache and wheezing from staying. Get slightly softer bed. My neck and back ached I wouldn't have stayed a second night. but I got off and on sleep enough to get to the airport.

Hotel Stay Our experience at the Homestead was very accommodating. We were able to store food and cook it as well. There was also a laundry room. There was even a basketball rim for our grandchildren to play basketball. The rooms were slightly higher than our prepay rate at a neighboring hotel, however we did not have to spend money eating out 2-3 times a day. We were also able to wash.

Hotel Review THis overall was okay. The experience could have been better if the bed was soft and the air would turn off. We could not get the AC to turn down even after using the controls.
