Extended Stay at Reston was a positive experience We were very happy with our stay. The front desk staff were very helpful, the room was small but very clean with all the amenities available (upon request). Being that we stayed short-term (four nights) their policy is to not provide room service, but we did have housekeeping check in on us to be sure we had everything we needed. The location was excellent, the courtyard very pretty, and the value was outstanding.

Room with a few problems Hotel claimed (posters at registration desk) to have a complete set of dishes and cookware in each room. Our room had none of this. We had to ask for two coffee cups (which they brought us promptly). We didn't plan to cook or eat in room, so it wasn't a problem. Shower head was a water saver that hardly put out enough water to get me wet. I would give it a D. There was also only one washcloth in the initial linen inventory. They brought us more when I asked. Other than that, the room was OK.

Pleasantly surprised I stayed here while visiting Washington DC as it was minutes away from the metro. There is a Chipotle, Chic Fil-A, Carabbas and a Potbelly's within a 2 minute walk. Other than the black mold on the air vent in the lobby, the stay was pleasant. Will definitely stay again.

be careful of third-party booking! due to overbooking problems I was given a smoking room and there is no other rooms available anywhere in the area due to conventions and business. It was disgusting and I was shocked that hotels even had smoking rooms. Other then the repulsive smell and their inability to do anything about it management did their best to accommodate me and give me a complementary hotel for two of the three nights and another voucher for future booking! Good move on their part I am satisfied!

some alone time It was a very nice hotel a lot of restaurants to but I love to shop an they only had target in walking distance so I did no shopping this trip
