Hidden Gem My husband & I had to find accommodations quickly when our pickup we were using on vacation broke down. We were sidelined 5 days until repairs could be completed & chose Extended Stay America in Wilmington NC. Many places are still recovering from Hurricane Florence 5 months after therefore choices were limited. However Extended Stay America was clean & not fancy but appropriate for our needs. The hallways throughout the building had a smell as though it may have been affected by the recent hurricane in 2018. Overall I am happy with this stay.

When I went to check out, AFTER the time breakfast is promised, there was no one at the front desk to give me a receipt, although a maintenance person was as polite and helpful as he could be. But he can't run the computer and print receipts. And there were NO breakfasts available. I sort of assume the desk person was probably putting together the breakfasts, but it was 20 minutes after the promised time and I needed to leave.
