I've had a great experience with Extra Space Storage! The facility is always clean and well-maintained, and the staff are professional and helpful with any questions.

I had to come in first thing in the morning, it was very reliving to see the employees were very punctual. Typically when I come in this early at other places the morning crews always tend to be a couple minutes late and it's always just a hassle. I was interested in renting out a unit gave them a description on what I was looking for and they set me up with what they thought works best. I am happy that I chose this storage place to keep my belongings. It's very clean, there is no-nonsense happening all the time, the other people using the storage units are friendly and respectful of each other, and I feel like my stuff is safe. The employee Oliver is amazing. He is very calm and professional. He speaks very clearly and is incredibly helpful. I love his integrity! Thank you for your help!

The Alameda location has been excellent so far. The only bad thing was that I was originally reserved to go to San Leandro but the woman kept trying to push their insurance on me, and they make you buy locks at that location, AND they don't allow you to do contactless checkin for the first time you check in - you have to do it within their office hours. Luckily, she did tell me that other locations will allow me to check in after office hours which is what i did with this one. I did not receive the gate code but luckily I... read more
Reyna was awesome and so sweet !! I had a lot of question and wanted to see different size units. She walked me to all of them and from there I decided which one I wanted. Other than that great customer service !
This place is one of the gems in Alameda, CA. The staffs are very responsive, understanding and address all the requests. They are definitely top-notch.
