I'm very disappointed with their customer support. I have been selling real estate for 15 years, and as a consumer on the other side, I thought they were very rude, inconsiderate and they don't cover as much as I thought they would. I would no longer use home warranty as my house warming gift towards the buyers.
Poor customer service, poor communication, no sense of urgency, extremely cheap support towards new unit
Basically, we had some plumbing issues and they had to cut some dry wall to fix it. They left a pretty huge hole in the ceiling, and mentioned that I would get a $65 credit for the dry wall, but the plumbers forgot to submit the pictures to Landmark. I ended up submitting the pictures myself and he just said 'We're just going to give you $45.' I asked them why, and they said it was because the hole seemed to be 4 and a half feet, instead of the 5 feet that the plumbers had mentioned to them. He wanted me too get a picture me... read more
I called them once for a plumbing problem we had, and they reacted promptly and solved my problem.
Overall, we're not happy with them. One time we had issues with our swimming pool and they said they wouldn't cover the claim because the chemicals were out of balance. The pool had just been opened after winter, and I find it hard to believe that they were able to judge that that easily after we had just bought the home. I won't renew with them when the contract finishes. I'll find another company.
Very slow at processing claims. Getting a hold of a live person is basically impossible. They contract out to the worst of the worst contractors. I have $100.00 service call fee and the last issue I called my own plumber and it only cost me $55.00. They hide behind their fine print and do everything they can not to fix the root problem. This company is a scam
I have had Landmark Warranty for a year now and will not be renewing. I had three incidents occur during my year with them. I had a replaced hot water heater and two repairs to my air conditioning unit. Landmark did not cover either of them siting a list of things that they do not cover. The conversation was the exact apposite of the one I had with their sales rep when signing up. While signing up they claimed to cover any and all issues pertaining to AC, Appliances, plumbing, etc.. We just got the warranty and unfortunatly already have a claim. The are quick to process the claim to a contractor and even asked when the appointment is scheduled to keep on top of the repair.
Repeatedly ignored requests. Repeatedly overcharged. No Help with obtaining refund for overpayment from a vendor they contracted for my repair. Unprofessional staff. Totally crooked company from front to back. What a rip off.
