I tried for 5 days to get my new home rekeyed. Now it's going to sit for 5 more days after purchase before it gets done. First experience with this company. Got some lip service after 3 days to no avail. What a complete disappointment !

Crooked contractor sent to our home- evidently these guys are responsible in some way, when they cannot fix an appliance (according to the contractor) which we found provides an incentive for these guys to lie. Nice folks when you call for phone support, but clearly not committed to solving problems for their customers. I've got an ongoing claim on our dishwasher that's been open for over a month and has required entirely too much time/effort just to defend against the crooked contractor. I chose Landmark Home Warranty because it seemed like they covered anything I needed to be covered, but sadly I was mistaken, they do not. Their wait time is ridiculous, around 40 to 45 minutes. Other than that, once you get to someone they're polite, they're professional, and courteous. They did send over a technician twice to fix my A/C, and I had to pay for each time. They had me pay an extra fee to add Freon to my air-conditioner, only to find out that it was the condenser that had to be fixed. Since they didn't want to ... read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Horrible company, no customer service care at all. We submitted a claim for an AC issue in middle of summer in Texas. We called out AC guy who pointed finger at electrician (so I had to submit a 2nd claim and pay a 2nd service call fees). The electrician came out and said it was an AC issue. The AC guy came back out and noted that the electrician placed the wrong sized fuse in breaker box, so I had to call Landmark to get electrician to come back out - but he wouldn't be available for 6 days ... read more

I'm not really too thrilled about their customer support. Sometimes I get somebody that's good, and sometimes I don't. The very first time we had to call was because a pipe had a leakage. The first person said it was covered, but they couldn't send somebody out. I called again, and the second person said it wasn't covered. Finally, the third person said it was indeed covered, so it was finally done, but I was told that I had to pay for the prep costs. The product as written protects landmark with very little protection for the buyer.

I switched to Landmark because of a couple of reasons. I had a bad experience with another home warranty company, so I did my work and looked at the business bureau reviews. Everything that Landmark offered to cover looked great, so I went with them. I've used them twice, and the only problem I've had with Landmark so far happened on the first time. My refrigerator's water line was leaking, so they sent out some guy, I paid my money, and the guy just goes 'oh, I don't work with plastic lines.' He didn't want to come, so I we... read more
