RecommendedUsually great, but “bill pay” department is about as useless as they come. No return contact with any inquiry, and zero way to actually speak with someone specifically from “bill pay” on the phone. Big thumbs down on that one Fairwinds.

The employee was very helpful and courteous one thing I don't like was closing the branch on Edgewater near my house.
My transactions on 5/31/2018 were excellent and as we went back on 6/01/2018 to finish correcting an error in my wife's Social Security number things went to hades in a basket. All went well until I returned home and found I could check in to my account the first time, but when I went back the second time I was not recognized and was asked for the last four of my SSN. I gave it and then was asked for the last six numbers of my SSN then reffered me to the home office where they asked for my full SSN, account number date of bi... read more
Was charged $35 for going -$0.01. The most ridiculous bank ever! I can’t not wait for my check to come in so I could make it a zero balance and close this account. Not giving them the opportunity to hold on my hard earned money!
There was a time local credit Unions were a go to after being taken for granted by big banks. Fairwinds operates no different from any of the large banks. If not worse. I purchased a car through fairwinds and in looking back they did not offer any help with the buying process. Non of there executives are easily reached. I had to snail mail the CEO office. Never heard from him nor his assistant. Instead they contacted me using the same Dept the complaint was regarding. Never did the CEO office contact me in order to find it... read more
