They will bang with bills for a simple checkup . It happened twice . Firstly, My fiancé had bleeding from navel and he was having pain so we went to urgent care since the family doctor appointment was two weeks away. And the doctor just checked with light and confirmed that it was due scratches even though we have good coverage insurance they sent 110$ bill for nothing no tests even . Secondly, when I had fever for days visited this center for flu shot and checkup, they sent 200$ bill. Seriously they are just looting peopl... read more

"Dr." Laura A. Justen was ridiculously rude when I explained to her I had strep throat a few months prior and amoxicillin did not work but a different medication worked better for me. She had an attitude and she told me that amoxicillin was the best. She cut me off and yelled that she did not have time to argue with me when I was just trying to get my medical "professional's" opinion on something. The wait was also very long. Overall terrible experience.

Terrible service and extremely unprofessional care from PA Joseph Farrug. Literally had to ask him to feel my lymph nodes to check for a sinus infection, to which he replied "you look fine to me" without even feeling my neck. He then proceeded to write a "prescription" for OTC medication that I was already taking and that was not helping. Never going back here again!

Business response:

We're very sorry to hear about your experience at FastMed. We strive to deliver quality medical care through our licensed, experienced healthcare providers. We'd like to get more information so our lead physician can look into this further. Will contact us at CustomerRelations@FastMed.com so we can connect you with the lead physician? Thank you.

The staff are friendly but it's ridiculously operated. I went in for a drug screen for a new job and I was there for 2 hours. YES, 2 hours. Behind 4 people. I went in thinking 30 minutes at most and I was ready to "go" but an hour in I mention that I was needing to "go" and she basically tells me "well you have to wait because there are two people back there already". It literally took 5 minutes at most once I was back. I used to work for a doctors office and if a patient was there just for labs you got them back and out so ... read more

My boyfriend had gotten in a car accident and was really sore so we came in just as a precautionary. I did the online check in for 8:50. We arrived at 8:50 and didn't get seen until 10:30. The doctor came in and talked with us for 5 minutes and suggested an X-ray. It is now 11:55 and we are still waiting. IT HAS TAKEN 3 FRICKEN HOURS. If we wanted to wait this long we would have gone to the ER. Their name Fast Med is wrong, more like SLOW MED. Never coming back here again.

Business response:

We're sorry to hear about the pace of care, Rachel. We keep track of wait times and try to minimize them as well as keep patients informed about expected wait times. Our operations leadership would like to understand more, so at your convenience, will you email us at CustomerRelations@FastMed.com? We look forward to hearing from you. Thank you.

I have currently been waiting to complete a drug screen for an hour. Three people have come in after me and been called back (two of them have also left in the time I have been waiting)! I have even mentioned to the receptionist that I've been waiting for over and hour and no reassurance as to when I will be called back. As a student, who needs to make it to class on time, I will have to leave if not called back soon. Very disappointed in the service as it should NOT take over an hour to be called back for a urine specimen c... read more

The receptionist told me I had to pay a copay and $180 on my credit card so I Left before checking in bc $180 hold on your credit cArd even if you have insurance doesn't make sense. Drive on down the street to Novant health university only $5 dollars.

Business response:

We appreciate your feedback, Kan. Many urgent care centers and doctors now require a credit card on file for each visit. Your card will not be charged any additional amount until your insurance company notifies us exactly what to charge. Several other urgent care centers require you to pay the full amount of the visit at the time of service, but FastMed only requires the estimated amount you would owe and a credit card authorization. This policy helps ensure that you never overpay for a visit - you will only ever be charged ... read more

Save your time and skip this dump. Poor customer service and attitude by the PA on 3/3. No help or pain relief given. I ended up leaving and having to wait until Saturday morning to receive treatment at CVS. This location is poorly run. I waited 1.5 hours and no treatment offered or received. Consumer beware do not use this place. Healthcare is not a priority.
