Purchased a Platinum Hyundai, Mechanical Failure Service Contract to cover our vehicle for 10 yrs/100k mi. Contract not honored. Hyundai Platinum Protection Plan #10939287 on Hyundai Elantra 2011. From Lia Hyundai in Hartford, CT. Sold as complete bumper to bumper coverage for all Mechanical Parts/Repairs. Fidelity Warranty Services says no parts covered past 50k miles. Completely false sales information...
I suggest to all of you who get offered a warranty from Fidelity to reject it and chose another company that the car dealership offers. We bought the Platinum warranty which covers pretty much everything from bumper to bumper with a few restrictions and one service for certain parts. I regret buying this plan. dealer that I bought from has poor service. I called Fidelity to see what other dealers in my area will honor this plan. they can't tell me which seems like BS. seriously? no list of providers? not much credibility there. I would AVOID this plan
I received a phone call just moments ago from the customer service department. The first agent told me the contact was being made due to nonpayment on the account. I was then told to hold while I get transferred to accounting. The second agent verifies my name and proceeds to tell me about purchasing the extended warranty. I explain to the agent that I purchased the warranty at the time of purchasing my vehicle back in May of 2018. The agent abruptly interjected and asked me what parts are covered under the warranty. Terrible service. I received a phone call from one of the agents that became irate with me over the fact that I was not aware of all the parts covered by the extended warranty. Upon asking why is he getting upset with me he hung up directly after saying have a good day. Such customer care is not deserved.
