0/10 if I could. The absolute worst. I need a repair that is absolutely covered in my warranty. They are not disputing that….but they have been dragging their feet so long that my car is on Day 12 in the shop for repair and the work hasn’t even started to be done because they haven’t given the mechanics the approval to start. I have been on the phone every day and it’s always something new. They said they would “help” me pay for a rental…even though the delay is 100% on the warranty company. It is BEYOND maddening and I have... read more
Wish I read the reviews before purchasing this last October when I bought my new car. My son was driving in the left lane of the Lincoln Tunnel and hit debris in the road. He thought it was a piece of concrete because it put a gash/hole in his front passenger tire. It was towed to the dealership and they just informed me Fidelity declined the claim because they said it looked like a curb was hit. Impossible to do in the left lane. Fortunately, the wheel is okay, so just have to pay for a new tire. I will be cancelling this... read more
I was happy with Fidelity for the past few years until I experienced their cheap tactics to decline coverage on deliberate call delays. My dealer called Fidelity to get approval for a qualified repair service. However he was put on hold for more than 45 min. Frustrated, he went ahead and did the repair. The dealer called again, waited for 45 min and and was finally able to provide all the details but Fidelity declined coverage since the repair was done without pre-approval. Cheap tactics of deliberately keep the call wait ... read more
These are fake ads they are paying people. My transmission and engine went in my jeep and they refuse it fix it. It still has 13000 miles left on the warranty
Horrible! They will not pay for services as they promise. They will not give you REAL plain, easy to understand, documents. They say they cover oil changes and tire rotation...seriously?! We are currently paying $70 today for "covered" (supposed to be FREE) services. Do NOT buy!!
The worst extended warranty. I have approved for my dealership a new engine ( all documented) and FWS don't want to cover and want me to pay for a tear down. 3000 dls.
2014 Ford F-150 Just got off the phone with a supervisor. I put in 4 or 5 claims with this truck. The first 4 claims went through without issue, and I was re-imbursed without issue. Now, let me state, on these 4 claims, I DID NOT get preauthorization for the work. Now I file the 5th (and most expensive) claim inquiring by email. No response. I finally call (the first time). I'm informed it was denied because I didn't get preauthorization. I told the rep I didn't get preauthorization for the first 4 claims. He had no answer. ... read more
Upon trying to cancel an auto insurance policy, I was told to send email which will add me to list for review in the order received. After not hearing back for a 10 days I called to check my position. I was told that there are so many cancelations that it may take up 40 days or more. Just to even have my it reviewed not even cancelled will take over a month is simply ridiculous. Stay away from this company.
Don't let the 5 star reviews fool you. They will absolutely help with smaller claims but when you have a big repair they will do anything they can to make sure they aren't obligated to help whatsoever. I have a costly repair for the vehicle I bought months ago, they denied the claim and want me to jump through hoops and put myself further indebted to the dealership before they would appeal their decision. Honestly there are better options out there.
