I was disappointed with my most recent lunch at Fire and Ice. We brought a family that had never been there and we bragged about how much fun it is. Unfortunately, it was not a great experience. The cook was getting upset with the customers because he said that they were not lining up correctly - very unprofessional. It took my husband 40 minutes to get his food and it was burnt. Came here right after I got married and specified that in my reservation. Told the rude hostess I had a reservation for 7 at 3pm and she kept acting like she couldn’t find it even though someone named Rosie called to confirm earlier that day. She proceeded to say into the Walkie “ I have a walk in for 7.” I thought that was very rude and the service was very mediocre.
Very turned off by the disgusting bathrooms and lack of cleanliness overall. I give it 3 stars as the quality was there for the food and quality and quantity. Our waiter tried, but obviously had too many tables. The chefs appeared to be bothered by cooking verses happy to assist. Place was overcrowded and very loud! Waited in line for 15 min prior to submitting food to be cooked, event that w done have food allergies, we don't like some meals, but chefs were making meals with othe people.... After first round, did not want to wait anothe 15-20 min for second round meal, and waiteres asking u if u a ready to go... kind of " time to go". Overcooked mostly flavorless food. Extremely noisy due to loud pop music played over the PA system. They try to do crowd control. It takes between 10-15 minutes to cook an entree so you'll need to figure that into your overall meal time if you plan to return for 2nds and 3rds.
Came on a mother's day and unfortunately the experience left a lot to be desired. Part of the issue was that the restaurant was overly-packed their dining concept with the live cooking does not lend itself to large crowds. We ended up waiting an exorbitant amount in line to get our food cooked and it was uncomfortable to stand there for a long time with 2-3 small bowls of raw food waiting to be cooked. We had a reservation but still had to wait. We had no silverware, plate ware, refills, straws and had to keep getting up to find help with our service..
The restaurant is very loud; hard to have a conversation. It is not the cleanest place; which is somewhat understandable given the concept. However, even the bathrooms were suboptimal. Food was ok; nothing special. Kids thought is was great, so it served it’s purpose.
Made a reservation and clearly mentioned it was for my son’s birthday. Not one person at the restaurant said happy birthday or did anything special. They sat us at a table in the middle of the room, (would def not be my choice when there were plenty of window seats). Atmosphere was perfectly fine for kids, but I don’t think they’ve changed a thing in at least 15yrs. Could use some serious updating.
